Sivers Semiconductors is a leader in SATCOM, 5G, 6G, Photonics, and Silicon Photonics that drives innovation in global communications and sensor technology. Their two business units, Wireless and Photonics, supply cutting-edge, integrated chips and modules critical for high-performance gigabit wireless and optical networks.
Sivers Semiconductors (formerly Sivers IMA) was in an exciting growth phase where it had garnered attention for its competitive products but needed to build brand awareness, trust, and start generating volume business to secure future growth. Two years prior, Sivers had acquired a company in Scotland and the two companies still operated under different brand names with separate websites and completely different visual identity.
SUNMICO was engaged on a part-time consultancy assignment for more than three years (2019-2022) to initially assess and make recommendations for more effective marketing and communications to support the crucial growth phase, and later to support the client’s journey to Nasdaq and beyond.
The consultancy services provided were a mix of strategic advice, project management and implementation support to help the client build brand awareness and secure future growth through step-wise scale-up activities in marketing and corporate communications.

The strategic marketing initiatives significantly improved brand recognition and positioning. The rebranding and targeted external communications efforts strengthened the company’s market presence, while the successful execution of digital campaigns and media outreach led to greater visibility and engagement with key industry audiences:
